April Arrivals: Yarn, Fabric, and a Bit of Emma Ball Magic

Hi Everyone,

It’s definitely starting to feel a lot more like spring, isn’t it? The sun’s beginning to show its face a little more, the daffodils are standing tall, and those lighter evenings are creeping in bit by bit.

There’s something about this time of year that just puts a little extra spring in your step — quite literally! We hope you all have a lovely Easter, whether that involved a chocolate egg (or two…), some quiet time, or a bit of crafting in the sunshine.

Here at Treadles, it’s been a busy few weeks with some gorgeous new arrivals that are brightening up the shelves and inspiring all sorts of ideas. There’s just something about a fresh delivery that makes you want to start something new, isn’t there?

Clover Crochet Hooks Are Back

Clover Crochet Hooks have also made a welcome return to our shelves. We know how many of you have been asking after them, and we’re happy to say they’re back in a great range of sizes. Whether you’re just starting out or have a project already on the go, now’s a great time to stock up.

Spring-Inspired Fabrics, Fresh Cotton Yarns & Easter Finishing Touches

And if your yarn stash is calling out for a bit of colour, our new cotton yarns are just the thing. The shades we’ve got in are perfect for spring – soft, cheerful, and wonderfully versatile. There’s something so satisfying about working with cotton this time of year, especially when you’re making pieces that feel light and fresh.

We’ve also had a bit of a refresh in the fabric section, and it’s looking so pretty right now. Lots of lovely spring-inspired prints are in stock, along with Easter ribbons and some beautiful new trims that have quietly found their way in. The ribbons section in particular has been growing and growing — it’s turning into a real treasure trove, perfect for adding a special touch to whatever you’re working on.
